Our baby girl turns 4

Grayson Faye born May 5th, 2007 4lbs 14oz.

Our babygirl could not wait to get into this crazy world, due June 15th but made her debut on Derby Day. That tells ya right there what kind of personality this peanut had and still has. She is a ball of energy, fun, funny, sweet, says the sweetest, cutest prayers and a big dare devil, this girl is not afraid of anything, has been swimming since she was not much more than 2 and keeps us on our toes and we can not imagine life without her. She loves being outside, she loves worms, bugs, dirt but also loves babies, barbies, dress up, clothes, shoes, books and could color or draw for hours. Loves her big brothers and her big sis.

Welcome home Lucy Tesfanish, we are soooo glad you are with your momma safe and sound. You are one precious little baby girl & we feel totally blessed to be a part of your life, we love you Lucy!!!!

Sorry my pictures are blurry, I was running late with the 4 kids and did not want to miss this beautiful home coming so I had to take pictures with my cell phone. Either way it was a magical day, it always is seeing one of God's precious children united with their forever family. Just another testimony of how Big our God is and what a total blessing these beautiful sweet children are, they are truly a "Gift".

One year ago today, we saw our sweet baby boy's picture for the very first time. We actually got pics of two other precious boys, but those big beautiful brown eyes just called out to us, tugged at our heart strings, we were totally in love!!!!! It will be a day that we will never forget. What a precious gift our father has in trusted us with, one of the best gifts of our lives. He brings us sooooo much joy, "Our Blessing" and we can't imagine life without him, thank you God, thank you!!!

Our sweet baby boy turned 4 years old on March 21st, we celebrated with our families and a dear friend the weekend after Cooper's b-day. This was one excited 4 year old boy, we counted down the days every day for like 2 weeks, can you say precious. Cooper had the best time, there were a lot of belly laughs, we all get so tickled when he gets really tickled, it's priceless!!!

Everyone always asks me well how's he doing, how's it going?? I always say, "he is the sweetest thing, he's just sooooo sweet, loving, affectionate, caring, patient, tender hearted, funny, fun, crazy for his Bubby & his sissy's and we CANNOT IMAGINE LIFE WITHOUT HIM!!!!!!!" We thank our Lord & Saviour everyday for such a precious gift, we will be eternally grateful to his birth momma for loving this precious boy soooooo much, you cannot be around Cooper for more than a few minutes & not know that he was truly loved, his "Super Sweet" personality says it all.

Happy Birthday Cooper, we love you more than words!!!!!!

Today is our sweet baby boy's birthday. We had an awesome day with some awesome sunshine. We've played outside, went to Cracker Barrel for dinner and finished off the night with one of his favorites homemade gooey brownies. I have pictures from our fun day and lots to say about this precious sweet boy but I'm waiting til I have more time. I'm headed to Indiana tomorrow morning for my aunts funeral, I need to be on the road by 5:30 A.M. Soooo stayed tuned for some super Cooper cuteness .

What an emotional week!!

This past week as been one emotional ride!! Sunday we had a baby dedication, which our baby boy Cooper Charles was a part of. We have done this with all of our children and it's always been very emotional for us but this time it was even more so!!! This Sunday was our pastors last Sunday at our church. He and his family have felt called to move about 4 hours away to another church. Brother Dave has been at our church for 16 years and our family has been going there for 13. He counseled us before our marriage, he and his wife was with us when our oldest Collin was being tested for Autism & was there every step of the way. They were right there when the kids were born. Brother Dave visited our little Grayson Faye in the NICU when I had not been released from the hospital. They were there for us every step of the way through out our adoption with our sweet baby boy Cooper. Praying for our baby boy, rejoicing with us when he came home! They are going to be missed more than they probably will ever know. Timmy & I do know that God has a reason for everything and we know that he will use the Tucker family to do great things!!

Also our dear friend Kristy Northcutt passed Court, yes little Lucy is officially hers, praise Jesus!!!!! Doing the happy dance!!!!!!!!! Can't wait till that sweet baby girl will be home FOREVER! Can't wait to see pictures of her. Please pray for safe travels back to the states and PLEASE pray for Kristy and her little Lucy, they will not be together again for another 6-8 weeks.

And our dear friends celebrated their Ethiopian Princess second birthday. Woo hoo, so thankful that that little sweet pea is home with her forever family. Also our friends the Lewis family is officially 14th on the waiting list for their sweet pea, please pray that God will move mountains & that things will really move fast.This week has been full of celebrations and tears, isn't it awesome that we serve an AMAZING GOD!!!

Someone Has Heard The Call!!!!

Okay, not just someone has HEARD THE CALL but one of my very closest & dearest friends. I'm sure if you are reading this post you will recognize the name Kristy Northcutt, she was the girl that flew half way around the world with me to bring Cooper Charles home, what a friend!!! Kristy is one of the most compassionate, loving, loves the simple things in life kinda girl, sweet, funny, sincere, & GODLY women I have ever known, she and her mother have been a constant inspiration to me through out my life. My family & I just feel totally blessed and honored to be a part of her adoption journey.

PLEASE PRAY!!!!! Kristy and her mom leave in 8 days for her March 1st Court date. Pray for their safe travels, pray that they will remain healthy, pray for Kristy's sweet baby girl, pray that they will pass Court on March 1st!!!. This trip will be full of soooooo many emotions, Kristy will have her sweet baby girl for almost a week and then will have to come home without her, yes, you read correctly, she will not be able to bring her home until she has passed court then flies over again for their Embassy appt., 6-8 weeks later. I can't imagine, I'm crying trying to see my computer screen just thinking about how emotional & hard this will be to say the very least. So please pray, that all will go well on March 1st and that the Embassy appt., will be sooner than later and that our father will comfort Kristy and her sweet baby girl until they can be together FOREVER!!! Also you can follow her blog , she also has a blog from when she was in Thailand you can read up on the amazing things she was doing when she was over there, she is an amazing woman and going to make one amazing mama(did I mention her mama is pretty amazing as well), I try and take a little credit in how wonderful Kristy is because I use to be her babysitter, ha!!!! Shelby invited a few friends from school to join us for lunch and a movie at Newport on the Levee. Of course her Bubby went. The two little one's got to have a special day with daddy. We saw Gnomeo & Juliet, we all thought it was a really cute movie, as a momma of a 11 year old I was glad she still wanted to see an animated movie. We ate lunch at Johnny Rockets, they all lined up behind the counter and sang Happy Birthday to our birthday girl and made her a big Sundae, she was embarrassed when they sang but loved the Sundae!!My baby sis and niece Lexi went with us as well, I'm so glad they did, we had a great time.

Our Shelby Leigh is 11 years old today, time goes by way too fast!! What can we say about our Shelbers, well she is beautiful, not just on the outside but most importantly on the inside, she is soooo compassionate, she has the biggest heart,her love for others, melts our hearts. She has a great sense of humor & is fun to be around. Shelby is a great little sister and a great big sister, she is very protective of her brothers & sister. She is full of energy, athletic & very creative, her paintings that she does while at Art Lessons are amazing!! She is a pleaser, she tries hard in school, every year her teachers say the same thing, how sweet she is, how loving, caring and compassionate she is for everyone around her, those are things people will remember for years to come!! We are so proud of the young lady you are becoming and we love you soooooo much!!!
